Herbert Rieck Engineering was registered and commenced operations on 8th April 1960. The business prospered and in the early 1960’s Peter Rieck built a factory, located in Auburn NSW where the company remained until 2007.

Initially, Herbert Rieck’s largest customer was the Electricity Commission of New South Wales, known today as Transgrid, for whom he manufactured Transmission Fittings. Herbert Rieck Engineering then expanded their product range that now includes a wide range of hardware and fittings in the substation and transmission network. Our customers now include many utilities, contractors and distributors in Australia.

The Business is currently located in Wetherill Park, NSW. In the Transmission and Substation market the business is known for its quality and ability to meet urgent needs efficiently. All our products are proudly manufactured locally.

Herbert Rieck Engineering is now able to offer complete project line hardware, fittings and busbar packages. The company can work with customers to create and provide fittings and fabricated Bus Bar drawings for approval. We can facilitate NDT testing of the bars and onsite welding.
